Curing of the thin layer of liquid suspension of iron or magnetite microparticles in fluoroorganic and organosilicone varnishes in a permanent magnetic field results in formation of two types of surfaces. High dilution by organic solvent yields the continuous superhydrophobic surface, not diluted or poorly diluted suspension forms a discontinuous surface with complex pattern. The structure of the said surface is investigated by optical and scanning electronic microscopy.

42 Removal of highly-resistant coatings using laser radiation —V. I. Shastin
We propose a combined method of cleaning the surface of the product sparingly multilayer coatings and dirt using a CO2-laser of low power, followed by exposure to chemical solvents. This combination provides a safe cleaning methods the eff ect of radiation on the surface of the processed products while increasing the efficiency of the cleaning process. The parameter optimization of laser action, taken calculated optimal removal rate of coating a moving heat source, previously obtained by the author, based on the analysis of the physical model of thermal degradation of the polymer coating on a metal substrate. Experimentally, using time-lapse photography investigated the kinetics of chemical degradation of the lower layer of the coating and peeling the top. As part of the proposed physical model are technological advice on the practical use of the method.

STANDARDIZATION AND METROLOGY

Methodological features of assessment of fire hazard of paints and varnishes — O. V. Krivoshapkina, N. I. Konstantinova, A. A. Zaytsev, I. S. Semibratova
The results of research of paints and varnishes and fireproof coatings widely used in construction, shipbuilding, railway transport and atomic energy on such basic parameters as combustibility, flammability, smoke production ability, toxicity of burning products and flame spread over the surface are presented in the work. The critical parameters aff ecting the fi re hazard properties of paints and varnishes are determined.
The main methodological inaccuracies of the assessment methods of smoke production ability, toxicity of thermal decomposition products, fl ame spread over the surface, combustibility and fl ammability of paints and fi reproof coatings are established in this work.
The main proposals brought in the normative-technical documentation on fire properties of paints and varnishes taking into account their operating condition and characteristics of the technology application are presented in the work.

The influence of additive dispersions chloride and sulfate polyaniline on complex mechanical and protective properties of acrylic dispersions was shown. Influence of the aciddopant PANI on viscosity combined dispersions was shown. It is found that the presence in the composition of acrylic dispersions PANI influence the hardness, adhesion and flexibility of coatings. It is shown that the structure of the acrylic copolymer and the acid dopant PANI affect anticorrosive properties of coatings formed from the combined dispersions thereof. The most efficient in terms of corrosion protection is dispersion by PANi doped sulfur acid.

New methods and equipment for the accelerated testing of protective coatings — M. A. Mikhailova
The article is devoted to new methods and equipment for the accelerated testing of anticorrosive coatings for compliance with the new international standard PSPC, adopted by resolution IMO MSC 215 (82). Covered the basic requirements of the standard system of coatings, surface preparation and coating, as well as quality control of all operations. Particular attention is given to the procedure of accelerated tests. Development of FGUP «CNII «Prometey» — the test method and the special stand «swinging tank» — approved by the FAU «Russian Maritime Register of Shipping» and allow for accelerated testing of protective coatings for compliance with PSPC. Currently, Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Central Research Institute «Prometey» is able to perform predictive and comparative tests of coatings and polymer composites using almost any Russian and international standards or non-standard technique.

In practice tinting materials used for the manufacture of decorative coatings is necessary that the color coating, made to order in diff erent times from diff erent batches of materials did not undergo signifi cant deviations with respect to the original source of the sample. The paper compared the visual and instrumental color perception and colors difference a number of samples of different decorative coatings. In the future, analyzed the nature of the surface coating and its relationship with color. Changing the chromaticity values over the sample area of decorative coatings due to the presence of the invoice, the unevenness of the decorative motif. Thus, the use of spectrophotometric method for analyzing color diff erences on various surfaces depends largely on their postpaid.

growth. Analysts argue that the decline in demand prior to the reduction of production plans, will not last long — the chemistry of high conversion remains under- invested, and thus promising. The article deals with resource, energy saving technology in the synthesis of
zinc oxide. It was shown that the major drawbacks in the production of zinc
oxide, zinc metal in muffle furnaces incorporated in soma furnace design. The technology of using the heat of the exothermic reaction in the oxidation of zinc vapor and shows the design of the installation, implementing these technologies. This technology can improve the thermal effi ciency of from 4.5 to 47% and reduce the flow rate of zinc.

Study of the anticorrosive properties of the epoxy coatings containing different structure of polyaniline — V. G. Kurbatov, А. А. Ilyin, prof. Ph.D. E. A. Indeikin
Influence of the structure of polyaniline on the anticorrosive properties of epoxy polymer materials was shown. Using emeraldine form of PANi allows to obtain epoxy coatings with active corrosion protection. Epoxies modified pernigraniline form of PANI have greater corrosion current density as compared with unmodifi ed. It is shown that the impedance of the epoxy coating containing pernigraniline form PANI decreases with increasing exposure time due to corrosion processes.

Coatings based on alkyd binders in organic solvents have been and continue to occupy a large segment of all coatings, used both at home and in the field of industrial coating. However, in the last 15–20 years, they began to lose their positions. Becomes very urgent replacement of organic solvents in alkyd paints on the water while maintaining the basic advantages of alkyd resins.
The results of investigating the possibility of emulsification most common pentaphthalic alkyd resins domestic production of standard grades of PF-060 and PF-053 in vegetable oil and in the DTM. We investigated the stability of the resulting alkyd emulsion according to the methods of emulsification and various factors. It has been established that for obtaining of stable emulsions requires two types of emulsifiers (nonionic and anionic) emulsifiers selected brand, their contents and an optimal ratio between the various kinds of alkyd resins. It is shown that stable emulsions are obtained in an optimal range of velocities dispersion of alkyd resin. The conditions for obtaining a stable alkyd emulsions are close to monodisperse with a particle size of 50 to 250 nm.Developed alkyd emulsions were tested as binders in the composition of alkyd enamels. It is shown that on the basis of emulsions can be prepared enamel, with similar properties to the organic-alkyd coatings, in particular alkyd enamel PF-115. The process of film-forming water-based alkyd enamels experienced emulsions, the kinetics of a set of coating hardness of the enamel.

Use of polyester urethane coating of aluminum alloys for protection from ozone during ozone sanitation of cabins was proposed. Adhesive and protective properties of the coating were justified for a decision on the admissibility of use of ozone as a disinfectant for aircraft cabins.

Hybrid materials based on copolymers of (meth) acrylic series, and polyaniline (PANI) have been synthesized. The influence of the PANi on dispersion of acrylic hybrid materials was shown. It was found that at content of PANi in the hybrid dispersions in an amount of 2 wt %. observed the lowest possible rate of corrosion of steel under cover.

Main fire safety requirements for varnish and paint materials used in building, on naval ships, on river navigation, on railway stock, on the metropolitan railway, in fire engineering equipment in accordance with the present normative technical documents are produced in the publication. In is established that objectivity of fire parameters estimation for varnish and paint materials depends on the correctness of the selection of test methods in accordance with the requirements of the normative documents subject to the functional purposes and the application field of these materials. The expediency of carrying out of scientific research on establishment of critical parameters having an influence on fire parameters for varnish and paint materials and on revelation of methodological peculiarities of their estimation to develop some proposals in order to submit alteration in normative documents has been shown in this publication.

Is developed the vibrodamping anticorrosion mastic «Demphy®» (TU 2332-106-20504464-2005) intended for a vibronoise-insulating and an anticorrosive protection of the internal surfaces of all-metal bodies of passenger cars, electric trains, hand cars and locomotives in conditions of the car-repair enterprises of the JSCo «RZD». The composition of the developed mastic is based on use of the high-melting oil bitumen combined with petropolymeric pitches, and is plasticized by the butadiene-styrene thermoplastic elastomer, petrolatum and the resin greasing containing inhibitors of corrosion. The being formed polymeric coating based on the «Demphy®» mastic 1,0–2,0 mm thick in a temperature
interval a –50 – +60 °C and the frequency range of 63-8000 Hz has coefficient of mechanical losses ( ) more than 0,1 conventional units. Term service of such coating is not less than 16 years in accordance with GOST 9.401–91 (method 18).

When manufacturing organoplastic cases, CP-5237 enamel is used in the composition of heat-insulating covering; it ensures the required antistatic properties and deformation behavior but has the following limitations: relatively high specific volume resistance and insufficient moisture resistance.Material’s features mentioned above raised the problem consisting insearching the ways to increase moisture resistance and
antistatic protection. The most universal and manufacturable way of target increase is the application of special additives — superfine powders of various substances. As an additive, increasing moisture resistance and antistatic properties, there was chosen a mixture of superfine zinc powder with two different particle form: spherical and plate-like. Test results revealed that application of superefine zinc additive enables to improve the factors of moisture absorption and electric resistance of CP-5237 enamel.

The modern approach to production disinfection

Reological properties of components of the sprayable polyureaurethane mastic - I. A. Susorov, S. G. Khadzhaeva, I. V. Chalov
The rheological characteristics of components of the two component sprayable polyureaurethane mastic «Forpol®» are investigated: urethane prepolymers «Forpol®-NCO» which contain terminal NCO-groups in amount of 12–21 mass. % and hydroxylamine hardener «Forpol®-NH2OH» in temperature range 20–70 °С. It was shown that viscosity of the components in question in examined temperature range depends on shear rate and subordinates to Frenkel–Andrade equation. Equations for fluxion of prepolymers and hardener are obtained, activation energies for viscous
fluxion are calculated. It is established that activation energies and preexponential multiplier in equation for fluxion of the urethane prepolymers are grow as a content of NCO-groups in these prepolymers rises. Optimum temperature modes of heating of components are recommended when laying the sprayable mastic «Forpol®-Oil».

The possibility of obtaining solvent-free waterborne polyurethane dispersion with high consumer properties based on high-molecular polyethers synthesized with new DMC technology was shown. Stabilization of viscous properties isocyanate pre-polymers during storage - I. A. Susorov, S.G. Khadzhayev, I.V. Chalov
For stabilization of a viscosity during storage of the urethane prepolymers with terminal NCO-groups it is suggested to introduce as additives the fatty carboxylic acids such as oleic acid. Their influence on viscosity changing of NCO-prepolymers during the time is investigated. Are obtained the kinetic curves which characterize the curing process of such prepolymers by aminohydroxylic hardener. It is detected that the fatty acid additives act as inhibitor in intramolecular reactions of the allophanate and biuret generation during the storage at medium temperatures. But in curing processes of NCO-prepolymers that are proceeding at a high temperatures the fatty acids acts as a catalyst of urethane and urea generation.
